I have a small hope they may create a PSVR2 title. Their ability to create such fun gunplay mixed with VR could create a hell of an experience.
I wasn't going to, but FOMO is starting to set in.
Hopefully feature rich too. Not just a time trial race (or similar) separate from the main play experience.
I also want a killer new IP/Game for the system too. Something I can only play on PSVR that is a full experience (single or multiplayer). At the moment I feel most games are available on other platforms (Beat Saber) that I could jump in at a cheaper price point on.
I hope remaking the entire series includes Code Veronica too. The Ashfords were great antagonists, possibly my favourite. It also added loads of law to the series.
I couldn't wait to fulfil that prophecy.
It plays well for sure. But the lack of content had me drop off faster than any other Halo. By the time forge and co-op released I had moved on. It needed another year in the oven in my opinion.
I think it would require a miracle to bring the franchise back to relevance now.
Same, I loved them and was surprised they were not standard on PS5, or at least purchasable on release.
Everyone Focus on Microsoft and Sony, but ignore the real monopoly purchases. Tencent and Embracer group are the ones buying up everything.
All this does really is make sure I check reviews and make an informed purchase. I won't be impulse buying games at £70, they need to be released and proven before I do is all.
I like the style too. I think we're in the minority.
It is if that death animation is associated with a moment or creature only present in the DLC
I feel the same. Really happy with their current capabilities, I just want to see them utilised more. I imagine there would be a "slim" model at some stage though.
The Switch though... please Nintendo, I want to see a power bump. 30FPS ruins the magic of your games.
On launch I would say my Series X got the most attention due to gamespass. This past year has been PS5. Fortunately, I am in the position to flex between them.
I use my series x all the time and play most things on gamespass.
That being said, the answer is still no. The only real blockbuster I have enjoyed on it was ResEvil:Village. Everything else has been AA gamespass titles (although enjoyable don't get me wrong).
I have found myself on PS5 most evenings the last few months, playing through the bigger titles.
Drool in my sleep dreaming of a current gen Ridge Racer and Wipeout games.
Switch light is a dedicated handheld console.
I have the opposite vibe to you myself. Like you, Silent Hill 2 is up as one of my favourite games of all time. But I like this new James. It was always meant to come across as a traumatic experience for him, this new James seems to sell that better.
I just have concerns with Bloober. I don't mind their games, they always are environmentally sound, but gameplay is usually a bit clumsy and limited... and their game optimisation is atrocious.
I enjoyed the 3rd one myself. I absolutely understand why people were dissatisfied with it... but I had a blast playing through coop. I loved the sequences where one player begins to see stuff the other can't... as if they're losing their mind.
I think perhaps people disagree as you can buy 3rd party digital Nintendo and Xbox content. Just not Playstation (which is what this lawsuit is calling out).
Let's be honest, Xbox got away with a lot this year... but it needs to deliver this one. I own both consoles, the last 6 months I have been playing through PS titles due to the Xbox drought.
